About Us

I’m a graduate mechanical engineer by education, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) 1961. I took machine shop courses and as a student co-op employee, operated different machines while at the old Consolidated Machine Tool Co. in Rochester, NY. Later to become Farrel Corp. Came to Phoenix in 1964 with General Electric Co. but left to get into sales in 1966, I spent most of my working career in Commercial Real Estate brokerage here in Phoenix, AZ. I'm retired now and enjoying my wood shop and my machine shop...making things for Neil.

My Tailstock Tap/Die Holder that I sell on my web store www.neilsniche.co has been very successful. I couldn't keep up with demand so I now have them made by a CNC shop. I've been very fortunate and have sold many with 100% satisfied customers. To me, it has been a prime example of free market Capitalism as it is suppose to be. I suggest to young fellows trying to get into something of their own, to try and find a niche market and create something. Don't get into something where you have lots of competition, strive to find a niche market or niche item and give it a shot.
